A few months later, ChatGPT.com was launched—just the opposite of the original GPTChat.com—and suddenly the name “GPT” became powerful and meaningful across the world.

What once felt random now made perfect sense.

Seeing this connection, OpenAI decided to buy the domain—and paid $85,000 for it.

This is how the domain industry works.

Sometimes, a name has no value… until the right moment arrives.

Timing, luck, and a bit of vision can turn something ordinary into something valuable.
